I combine my academic knowledge of educational psychology and social work with a body-oriented psychotherapeutic approach grounded in Bodynamic Somatic Developmental Psychology, drawing on many years of professional experience supporting individuals and families facing emotional, psychological, and social challenges. I have extensive experience supporting individuals on sick leave and a deep understanding of how psychological distress, emotional challenges, and prolonged stress can affect everyday life, personal well-being, and the ability to maintain a connection to working life. I also have considerable experience working with families facing complex challenges, including children and adolescents experiencing emotional, psychological, or social difficulties. I understand how concerns about a child’s well-being, family conflicts, and the demands of parenting can affect the entire family, including parents’ emotional resources, relationships, and professional lives. In my work with families, I support parents in understanding family dynamics, strengthening communication, and developing healthier, more sustainable ways of navigating everyday challenges. I have a particular interest in the connection between mental and physical health and how movement, physical activity, nutrition, and recovery can contribute to greater well-being and balance in everyday life. I take a holistic approach, recognizing how emotional stress, relationships, bodily experiences, and daily habits influence our overall wellbeing and ability to cope with life's challenges. I work from each client's individual needs and life circumstances, supporting the development of body awareness and helping clients recognize and understand their body's signals. Together, we explore realistic and sustainable habits that promote both physical and emotional self-care. I also have specialized experience supporting individuals affected by psychological and physical violence and complex relational difficulties. In my therapeutic work, I focus on creating a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I approach each person with empathy, respect, and an understanding of their individual background, experiences, and needs.
